There are many ways you can donate and help the individuals and families affected by the June 17th tornadoes. Monetary donations will help provide essentials like grocery gift cards, gas cards, and home repairs to the storm victims. Household and clothing donations help defer the cost of replacing lost items with new items.
Please give what you can to help the people of Wadena and Otter Tail counties.
Monetary donations can be made one of three ways:
- Mail your check directly to the Wadena Otter Tail Long Term Recovery Office at 119 Jefferson St S, Wadena, MN 56482. Make your check payable to Wadena Otter Tail Long Term Recovery.
- Mail your check to Mid-Central Federal Savings Bank at P.O. Box 152, Wadena, MN 56482. Be sure to reference “City of Wadena Disaster Recovery Benefit” on your check.
- A Paypal option will be available soon.
Household/Clothing Donations
Just think about how much it would take to replace everything in your house including all of your clothing, bedding, curtains, kitchen items, tools, christmas decorations and the list goes on! Please consider donating new or gently used items to help someone put their household back together. You can bring items to the Wadena Otter Tail Long Term Recovery office at 119 Jefferson St S in Wadena.
